Post-Birth – Post-natal check consultation

POSTNATAL CHECK CONSULTATION

During your stay, a postnatal check will be scheduled by the medical secretaries.

This appointment will take place between 6 and 8 weeks after your delivery, with your practitioner at the CHPG.

In most cases, in the absence of complications during pregnancy, childbirth and post-partum, the postnatal check is preferably carried out by a town doctor or midwife who followed the early stages of pregnancy.

At the end of this consultation, you can start perineal re-education.

Self-employed midwives or physiotherapists who are located close to your home are at your disposal to plan re-education tailored to your needs. Perineal re-education is also available at the CHPG.

Activities

The CHPG’s maternity is a 2 a level maternity, where birth is given to approximately 1000 newborns per year.
