Presentation of our Department

The CHPG’s maternity is a type 2 a maternity where birth is given to approximately 1000 newborns per year. Low-risk and moderate-risk births are possible from 32 weeks of amenorrhea.

The facility is equipped with a neonatology and offers a comprehensive pregnancy program thanks to networking with self-employed and territorial doctors and midwives. The CHPG’s maternity is part of the Mediterranean Network of perinatal care.

Our equipment

The maternity offers :

  • 7 individual bedrooms including 3 premium bedrooms
  • 7 double bedrooms

Each room is equipped with a space arranged to provide care for newborns and a bathroom with shower and toilet. Diapers, toiletries and formula milk are provided by the maternity ward.

  • 1 nursery
  • Technical facilities: 1 obstetrics emergency room, 3 delivery rooms, 1 intensive care room for newborns, 1 cesarean section recovery room, 1 endoscopy room
  • Equipment: equipment for monitoring low-risk newborns (incubator, cardio-respiratory monitoring, bilurobinometer, phototherapy, etc.) and screening (Guthrie, deafness)
  • Consultation areas/ultrasound
  • Preparation for birth room
